A pretty photo of The Spike was that was completed today at Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift. Cars will twist around 180° to the opposite side of the support tower, then descend into the rest of the ride.

Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift seen from Music Plaza. A palm tree that is recovering from the February harsh freeze mimics the twisting of 170-ft tall Spike. Cars in The Spike will twist 180° around to the opposite side of the support tower.

Protective foam added over propulsion fins of Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift. This indicates that track will soon be added overhead. This track is for the launch from the station to the CityWalk area. Track that will be added above will return cars to the station.
