Seems like sections staged on ground in first photo are for completing A-frame supports in Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift. Pair of A-frames seen in progress in second photo. Only Universal knows what thrilling track will span these A-frames.

Current work on the elevated track for Cars returning to the station of Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift. Supports recently added past the concrete platform for switch track used at ride start. This track is under the supports, towards a likely show scene in the second building.
