EPCOT opens at 10am this weekend due to the Walt Disney World Half Marathon (Sat) and Full Marathon (Sun). Disney's Hollywood Studios also opens 9am Sun due to the Marathon.

It's interesting to watch a small building be added to Grand Avenue in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lighting and trees seem to block a clear view of where the building signage will be.

EPCOT New Year's Eve also featured lighted dancers on stilts at Italy, and spotlights from Luminous. Spotlights starting at first as the crisscrossing beacons at the World Showcase pavilions, then including a flurry from the barges.

EPCOT always jam-packed with New Year's entertainment. All of the dance parties were crowd-pleasers. United Kingdom hosted what seemed to be the largest yet of the Silent DJ Party, where guest wear headphones. An additional soundtrack heard throughout the park.

DJ at Disney's Hollywood Studios. this year was at the raised Center Stage oval. The on demand pyro was very cool!

Port of Entry dancers on stilts mingling with guests were fantastic! Fireworks display had a variety of pyro and shells.

Islands of Adventure was crowded at the Port of Entry stage. However, crowd flow around the center was good, with tall signage and the belted fence separation. A pop up bar meant crowding on the Confisco Grille side.
